The Vision for Female Leadership
Women in Change USA (WIC USA) is a hub of the global organization Women in Change (founded by Sarah Bar Lev in London in 2022). We are dedicated to equipping, connecting, and elevating women in leadership. Through mentorship and sponsorship, we move beyond just networking.
Our mission is to equip, connect, and elevate women who lead organizational, social, and technological transformation — building a more inclusive, adaptive, and innovative future.
Our vision is a world where women are recognized and empowered as the architects of change — leading transformation in every sector, from education to business to community.
EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP
Dr. Meg Waldron
Dr. Meghan Waldron brings a wealth of experience from both K-12 and higher education to inform her insights on current educational trends and challenges. With a background in English, Journalism, and Educational Leadership, she offers a unique perspective on student success, personal writing, and navigating the changing landscape of education.
Waldron founded Smart Solutions Tutoring in 2007, and for nearly two decades this Richmond-based small business has helped thousands of students develop their writing abilities and achieve academic success. She also works at a local university serving as a Pre-Professional Health Senior Academic Advisor and adjunct professor.
Waldron champions authentic living and strategic risk-taking by actively fostering an environment where her students and staff are encouraged to innovate, collaborate, and push the boundaries of conventional learning.
Despite a long-standing battle with Multiple Sclerosis, Waldron refuses to let the condition hinder her aspirations or cloud her "why." Driven by a deep commitment to her family and her community, she aims to lead by example by encouraging other women to do the same.
